Kevin Manfredi At The Podium

Kevin, it's great to have you here on Motoracers! What are some of the key differences you've noticed between racing in MotoE and the FIM EWC?

Hello to all friends of Motoracers, thanks for welcoming me with you.

The differences between MotoE and FIM EWC are huge, first of all the duration of a race is extremely different, MotoE faces real sprint races, where you never have to manage but only give 100% in every single lap. On the contrary for the FIM EWC, where it is very important to have a management of tyre and fuel consumption, on some occasions going well below your 100%.

Racers often get disheartened when things aren't going their way. How do you stay motivated in these times and during the off-season?

It is never easy for a driver to fall short of his own expectations, but unfortunately, there are some difficult seasons, like mine in 2024. The fundamental thing is that I have never lost clarity, because I know what my potential is and the titles and results achieved to date are the ones that always motivate me to move forward.

How do you analyse and learn from your race performance to improve future races and what tips would you give beginners on the track so they can do the same?

After each session, I analyse my times, and those of other riders and compare them, also cutting out all the sectors, I also watch several times the previous races on that same circuit and the practice sessions, to analyse some points, movements etc that my rivals make.

Finally, how do you balance the demands of racing with your personal life and downtime?

For me, racing is my job and my life, I balance myself thanks to my girlfriend, who helps me do every single thing and allows me to concentrate 100% on this job.

Thanks a lot. Kevin 🙏🏻

You're welcome Kevin, and we also wish you great success in next year's Endurance World Championship season as well!
