Is being Obsessed with Motorcycle Racing a Bad thing (Motivation)?

Often we have heard about the importance of balance and maintaining equality between all different aspects of your life and that obsession is an unhealthy thing we must avoid consciously. Often they tell us that this much is "Enough" and "it is time to do something different" which is the dark secret of racing is what happens in your mind which is why in this post let's see if they are right or wrong.

They are NOT you

Guess what? the people who are saying that are not trying to get P1 on the track, or they may not want to get into your nation's championship or may not even do racing! Their Life's goals and desires are not closely related to you so follow their advice if you're trying to be like them and you most likely aren't if you are reading this post now.

Adequate is not enough. The Champs aren't being adequate. They're trying to do everything they can in their power to win. Thats what separates champions from good riders since they aren't here to play around but only to win.

The way to win is by doing what everyone refuses to do and the higher up you go the harder the competition will be since there can only be one winner and that can be you! All it takes is everything you've got, and obsession is everything you've got.

When I say adequate it doesn't mean that you sacrifice sleep what it means is that when that alarm clock hits the 5 am alarm say goodbye to your 15 minutes of lazing around on the bed and get straight to work. What matters is results and in the end, the man who wins is not the talented but the man who gets the results by being consistent every single day, and that can be anyone: That means you can win and you will win.

I struggled to get straight to work often procrastinating, always fighting the alarm clock, opening some YouTube shorts, and wasting my time on that but realizing that the men on top were not doing that, I realized I got to fix this and accept the harsh truth of what it takes to get there anywhere in fact in life not just motorcycle racing but in anything you wish to achieve in life that the road ahead is filled obstacles, potholes, and rocks.

Whenever you think of quitting or going back, look behind and see how far you've come and think that every step ahead no matter how hard and frustrating is one step closer to your dream.

Motorcycle racing is no different from any other skill or endeavor and it will take effort, and anyone including us can put in that effort and remember that you must want it and when you are hungry to win others won't and may disagree with you but that's okay since it is your journey and yours alone.

I posted this today because a lot of motorcycle racing is mental and nobody ever speaks of this even though this is of paramount importance. Often our mind presents obstacles to us when we should focus on the obstacles on track ahead. Never disregard your mental game or your mentality because doubts, imperfections, and insecurities can build up and cause you to break down if they accumulate.

Confront and scrutinize all your doubts, imperfections, and insecurities that way when things get hard and they will since in every racer's journey often things happen that we would prefer not to occur and at those critical junctions, your mentality can win you the championship or make you give up all those months of hardwork you've been putting in.
