Hi Unai, glad to have you here on Motoracers. Can you share your journey in motorcycle racing so far and what inspired you to pursue this path?

Hello! A pleasure to be here with you. My sports career began thanks to my father and we have gone through many good and bad times so far. Although I thank my current team Arco Motor Upv and Antonio Molina for trusting me, since without them I would not have been able to get here

Congratulations on your first WSSP 300 win recently at Magny-Cours! How did it feel during the final laps and to cross the finish line in first place?

Thank you! It’s an incredible feeling, the best feeling I’ve ever experienced, you see how your work and sacrifice from many years ago is paying off.

What are some key skills that a successful motorcycle racer needs to have?

In my opinion the most important thing is the mentality, although also having a good team around that prepares you to the maximum as is my case. You also have to be a little crazy!

Can you describe the training regimen you follow to stay in peak condition?

I follow a very strict but controlled training combining with my studies. The team I have around me makes it possible to perform at my best by organizing my training intelligently. I do a motorcycle, motocross, gym, mobility and bicycle preparation all combined weekly. Also a diet according to the workouts and the time of the season.

Lastly, what are your long term aspirations in the world of motorcycle racing?

My dream has always been to be a world champion, I also want to continue with my team advancing in higher categories as we have done so far.

Thank you for the interview Unai, and I'm sure our readers loved the interview and we from Motoracers wish you the very best for the upcoming Aragon Round (Check out the calendar here) this weekend!
